Operational Assessment & Analysis

At project initiation stage, we work with you, the Client Sponsor, to explore and establish the business case for the Performance Improvement project. In this initial stage, getting to know your business and understanding your Key Result Areas is of crucial importance.
In our experience, the assessment and enrolment phases are the most important stages of the Performance Improvement project. An incomplete assessment or an assessment based on incorrect information supplied up front will result in a misinterpretation of the root causes underlying the performance gap, ultimately leading to potential re-scoping mid-project and wasted time, energy and resources for both the Client Sponsor and Exceed. This is why it is critical to invest the front end time with you to establish the assessment requirements and deliverables and involve key stakeholders from a multi-disciplinary team.
As part of the exploration stage, we also clarify what the financial impact of desired performance might be and the role Exceed performance coaches might play in closing the performance gap.
For an assessment to be of most value, we know from experience that it needs to be done in a face to face environment, yet reaching a maximum amount of people at different levels throughout the organisation. We achieve this by combining face to face interactions with pre-selected ‘opinion leaders’ while inviting additional input via web-based survey tools.
Exceed offers three types of assessments, each focused on specific areas within your business:
• Performance Improvement
• Project Value Assurance
• Offset Analysis & Benchmarking
