Johan van Rensburg

Master Black Belt Johan van Rensburg lives for performance improvement. Johan’s background in metallurgy lead him to the mining industry, where his career has spanned various facets of productivity, process improvement, and change management.

Johan has a passion for people, process, and technology integration. His career path includes various leadership roles in processing, plant maintenance, plant design and capital projects. Pragmatic in his approach to Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement, Johan has received several awards for process improvements, innovation, and implementation of new systems.

Any time away from work, Johan spends with his family, breeding rottweilers experimenting with eastern and Indonesian dishes, or fishing for bass and trout in some of the most remote and un-spoilt spots in Africa. In addition to all this, he confesses to being an amateur archeologist … it comes with the territory!
