Tim Wigham
Tim grew up in Zimbabwe and was schooled at Falcon College where he developed an enthusiasm for leadership and sport - in particular, rugby and running. He traveled extensively before gaining a commission into the Royal Marines in 1992. Tim led marines in Northern Ireland, West Africa and the former Soviet Union. He also managed training programmes in the UK, USA and Western Europe. In 2001 Tim returned to Africa and completed his MBA in Cape Town.
Since then, Tim has taken the entrepreneurial route in the people and performance development arena. He has worked with some of South Africa’s top sports and corporate teams to enhance self belief, awareness and potential. Tim enjoys contact sports and endurance challenges; a qualified abseil guide, he has completed 4 Comrades Marathons and is a double GSB 3 Peaks Champion. He is a certified Gifting practitioner, an Assessor with Theta and an Associate Coach through the Centre for Coaching. He is currently completing a PhD in the area of Performance Programmes.
